How Much Does Plastic Surgery Cost in India? Cosmetic Surgery Price Guide

The short answer: plastic surgery costs in India vary because no two operations are the same. The procedure, the number of areas treated, the surgeon, the facility, the type of anesthesia and the aftercare plan all change the final bill. People who search for how much plastic surgery cost in India will find ranges that stretch past ₹2 lakh for the same procedure, so a single “average” is rarely useful for budgeting.

This guide uses published hospital estimates where they exist and says plainly where they do not. The figures below come from one hospital network’s public cost pages, checked on 17 October 2026. They are indicative estimates. They are not Rejuvena Cosmetic quotations and not national averages.

Plastic surgery cost in India: procedure-wise comparison

ProcedureIndicative cost in IndiaWhat may affect the price
Rhinoplasty₹45,000 to ₹2,50,000 (published hospital estimate)First surgery or revision, technique, grafting, anesthesia, facility
Liposuction₹50,000 to ₹2,50,000 (published estimate; number of areas not stated)Areas treated, amount of fat removed, technique, garments
Breast augmentationAbout ₹75,000 to ₹2,50,000 or more (the source gives different starting points on the same page)Implant type, surgeon, clinic location, facility
Tummy tuckStated average of about ₹2.25 lakh; no range publishedExtent of surgery, combined liposuction, hospital stay
Gynecomastia surgeryPrice not verified (published estimates conflict)Fat vs gland tissue, technique, skin excess
Eyelid surgeryPrice not verified (published estimates conflict)Upper, lower or both lids, anesthesia, facility

Where the table says “Price not verified”, two published sources gave ranges that do not agree, so any single figure would be a guess. Ask the clinic for a written estimate based on your own plan.

The ranges are wide because the hospital pages themselves list location, type of hospital, type of procedure and length of stay among the factors that move the price. A lower figure does not by itself mean lower quality, and a higher figure does not guarantee a better result.

The advertised price is not the full bill

A figure on a website usually describes the core procedure. The complete treatment bill can include several other items, depending on the procedure and your needs:

  • Surgeon’s fee
  • Operating theatre or hospital charges
  • Anesthesia and anesthesiologist fees
  • Pre-operative consultation and medical tests
  • Prescribed medicines and supplies
  • Hospital stay, if your surgeon advises one
  • Follow-up visits
  • Dressings, compression garments or other procedure-specific items
  • Travel and accommodation if you are coming from another city
  • Further treatment if the plan changes or a revision is medically advised

Not every patient will pay for every item, and some may be bundled into one package price. One hospital’s tummy tuck page, for example, notes that the cost includes operating theatre fees alongside the surgeon’s charge. The goal is to ask what is included, not to assume.

Procedure by procedure: what moves the price

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose for appearance, breathing or both. A published hospital estimate runs from ₹45,000 to ₹2,50,000. A first operation usually costs less than a revision, and the amount of cartilage work or grafting also matters. If breathing correction is combined with reshaping, the plan, and the bill, can change. You can read about rhinoplasty in Jaipur at Rejuvena Cosmetic before a consultation.

Liposuction

Liposuction removes localized fat deposits and is better suited to body shaping than weight loss. One hospital publishes ₹50,000 to ₹2,50,000 but does not say how many body areas that covers. The technique, the areas treated and the amount of fat removed are the main variables, so ask for a per-area breakdown. Rejuvena’s page on liposuction in Jaipur describes its approach, and its comparison of liposuction and tummy tuck can help if you are unsure which fits your concern.

Breast augmentation

Breast augmentation uses implants to increase breast size. Published estimates start between ₹75,000 and ₹1,00,000 and reach ₹2,50,000 or more, with implant type, surgeon experience and clinic location named as drivers. Because the implant is a major component, ask whether it is included and which type is planned. Health insurance generally does not cover augmentation done for cosmetic reasons. See breast augmentation surgery in Jaipur and the breast augmentation recovery timeline to plan time off work as well as cost.

Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty)

A tummy tuck removes excess skin and fat from the abdomen. One hospital network states an average of about ₹2.25 lakh without publishing a range. The same page says the surgeon’s charge depends on geographical location and experience, and that liposuction may be used as part of the surgery. How much correction you need (a smaller or a fuller procedure) will shape the quote. Rejuvena’s guide to the mini tummy tuck explains one option.

Gynecomastia surgery

Gynecomastia surgery reduces enlarged male breast tissue using liposuction, excision of tissue, or a combination. Published estimates for the procedure conflict with each other, so no single range is quoted here. Ask whether a compression garment and follow-up visits are included. More on the procedure is on Rejuvena’s gynaecomastia surgery page.

Eyelid surgery

Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) removes or repositions excess eyelid tissue and can be done for appearance, for vision, or both. Cost depends partly on whether upper lids, lower lids or both are treated. Published ranges disagree, so request a written estimate for your plan. See eyelid surgery in Jaipur.

Hair transplant is priced on different logic, so it is not covered here. Rejuvena’s hair transplant cost guide covers it separately.

Why prices differ between clinics

Most differences come down to ten things:

  1. Type and complexity of the procedure
  2. One area or several
  3. The surgeon’s verified qualifications and relevant experience
  4. The hospital or surgical facility
  5. Anesthesia requirements
  6. Whether an overnight stay is needed
  7. Your individual anatomy and medical needs
  8. Whether the surgery is a revision or corrective operation
  9. The location of the facility
  10. Follow-up and aftercare arrangements

None of these makes price a reliable stand-in for quality. This guide does not compare Jaipur with Delhi, Mumbai or other cities, because no like-for-like city data was available.

How to compare quotations

Ask each clinic for a written quotation covering the same procedure, the same areas and the same implants or devices. Then ask:

  • Does the quoted amount include the surgeon’s fee?
  • Are anesthesia and hospital charges included?
  • Are pre-operative tests included?
  • How many follow-up visits are covered?
  • Are medicines and dressings included?
  • What additional expenses may arise if the treatment plan changes?

Two quotes are only comparable if the answers match. A low figure that excludes anesthesia and facility fees is not cheaper than a higher all-inclusive one.

Safety checks before you decide

All surgery carries risks and recovery requirements, whether it is cosmetic or reconstructive. Cosmetic surgery changes appearance by choice. Reconstructive surgery restores form or function after injury, illness or a congenital condition, and Rejuvena describes this separately on its reconstructive cosmetic surgery page.

Before booking:

  • Check registration. Indian patients can search a doctor’s name and registration number on the National Medical Commission register and the relevant State Medical Council site.
  • Ask about experience. UK health guidance advises asking how many similar procedures the surgeon has done, their qualifications, common complications, aftercare, and whether further treatment costs extra. The advice comes from the NHS but the questions apply anywhere.
  • Confirm the facility. Ask where the surgery and anesthesia take place and what happens in an emergency.
  • Do not choose on price alone. A low advertised figure tells you nothing about the surgeon, the facility or the aftercare.

No quotation guarantees a particular result.

Why the final price comes after consultation

A fair price cannot be set until a surgeon has examined you, reviewed your medical history and discussed your goals. The most suitable procedure may differ from the one you came in asking about, and the plan, and therefore the cost, can change. Rejuvena Cosmetic is a plastic surgery clinic in Jaipur led by Dr. Deepesh Goyal, who holds an MCh in Plastic Surgery; you can read his background on the About Us page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does plastic surgery cost in India?

It depends on the procedure. Published hospital estimates for common procedures range from about ₹45,000 to ₹2,50,000 or more, but these are indicative, undated and not clinic quotes. Some procedures, such as gynecomastia and eyelid surgery, have conflicting published prices.

What affects plastic surgery prices?

Procedure complexity, the number of areas treated, the surgeon, the facility, anesthesia, hospital stay, your anatomy, revision needs, location and aftercare.

Does the quoted surgery price include hospital charges?

Not necessarily. Some packages bundle theatre fees and others do not, so ask for a written breakdown.

Why do prices differ between clinics?

Clinics differ in facilities, surgeon experience, what the quote includes and the aftercare offered. Price alone does not indicate quality.

How can patients compare plastic surgery quotations?

Get written quotes for the same procedure and scope, then compare what each includes using the six questions in the article.

What should patients check before choosing a surgeon?

Registration on the National Medical Commission or State Medical Council register, qualifications, experience with the specific procedure, the facility, aftercare and the likelihood of extra costs.
